About Us

Country Craft Cabin are dealers of decorative salvage, antique, vintage and contemporary furniture, as well as collectables and other items for your home and garden. We also specialise in bespoke furniture making, along with restoring and repurposing furniture.

We always have a changing stock of items — some of our range is available in our online catalogue. Visitors are welcome by arrangement, and we also hold open days throughout the year. Details and dates are shared on our social media pages.

We are situated right at the heart of the South Downs National Park, near the old market town of Midhurst in West Sussex — an ideal base for a day out, with many small shops and cafes to explore.

Repurposing

Much of what we dispose of still has useful life left. A good clean up and a coat of paint can transform tired furniture, and even the most battered piece often contains materials we can turn into something new. We believe in reducing waste by re-using as much as possible — to transform your home and garden.

Bespoke Furniture & Small Joinery

Country Craft Cabin makes handcrafted pieces of furniture and small joinery items, using materials from responsible sources and suppliers. From a special side table to a bespoke painted item of furniture, a non-standard cupboard door to a made-to-measure shelf unit — we are here to help.

Furniture Repair

We carry out repairs to furniture and small items of portable joinery. Please contact us to discuss your repair.

Painted & Decorated Furniture

Painted and decorated furniture is very popular, and we stock handmade and remade pieces ready for painting. We can also paint and decorate customers' own items, subject to size and current workload — please contact us with photos via WhatsApp or email.

We use a range of quality paints and finishes, including Frenchic, Fusion Mineral Paint, Annie Sloan, Johnstones and Rust-Oleum.

Gardenalia

We supply a wide range of gardenalia, including terracotta and stone pots and planters, galvanised tubs, troughs, buckets, watering cans, and decorative items for in and around the garden.
